Previously, he was the CEO of NaviSite, a NASDAQ quoted company that provided technology and application management services to customers in the US and UK from 2002-2010. With offices in the US, UK and India, NaviSite provided data center hosting and cloud-based application management to enterprises. Arthur was a senior advisor to the Vera Wang fashion company for 7 years and has been a private investor in technology and real estate since NaviSite was sold to Time Warner in 2011.

Tom brings 25 years of finance, accounting and administration experience in small- to medium-sized companies. Serving as CFO since 2007, he has played a key role in developing Zinio's revenues worldwide. Prior to joining Zinio, he was CFO at AEXjet, a private jet company based in Aspen, and at Fiji Water, where he helped develop the brand from its infancy to nearly $100 million in annual sales. Previously he held various finance and accounting roles at The Aspen Skiing Company and Vail Resorts. Tom likes biking, building homes, and playing with his family on California's northern coast.

At Zinio, Beth leads marketing, merchandising, product, customer support and PR efforts. She was most recently Chief Marketing Officer at Stitcher, where she led marketing and business development efforts for the mobile first start-up. Beth has held product and marketing leadership roles at Travelocity, Yahoo, Digg, Visa, Intuit and Clorox. She started her career as a management consultant with Accenture, and holds an MBA from UC Berkeley and BA from Northwestern University. Beth enjoys riding her bike around town and hiking San Francisco’s hills with her dog, Quincy. Her favorite magazines on her Zinio include Wired, AFAR and Vanity Fair.

Until July 2012 Joan was President of Zinio International, developing the Zinio business outside of North America. He joined the company in 2009 after leading a joint venture with Havas to develop Zinio in Europe and Latin America. Previously he was CEO of Acceso Group, a media intelligence and CMS group in Spain that developed a partnership with Zinio in 2004 to expand the business in the UK and Spain. From 1984 through October 2000 he was CEO of Weber-Shandwick Spain. Joan was born in Barcelona, has a degree in Law from the UAB, a Marketing PD from ESADE, an EDP from Wharton and lives with his wife and their four daughters in Barcelona.

Rich co-founded Zinio in 2001. He was responsible for innovation and the development of new strategic business and partnering opportunities at Zinio since the company's inception. Prior to Zinio, he started a private equity group called NetOyster where Zinio was incubated, and was previously called Lightbox, then was spun out. Prior to that Rich worked at AOL and was involved in high-level strategy initiatives and investments. Rich graduated Summa Cum Laude from Bowdoin College and resides in San Francisco.

Director, Acquisition Marketing
Your Mission...
As Director, Acquisition Marketing you will lead, implement and evaluate marketing campaigns that acquire new customers for our www and mobile products leveraging integrated digital and offline channels. Reporting directly to the CMO, you will be responsible for driving the topline revenue number, managing the acquisition marketing budget and creative/media agencies within a test and learn framework to optimize results over time.

Your Responsibilities...
  • Lead, develop and deliver a digital marketing strategy across all digital channels including, Mobile, Search (SEO and PPC), Affiliates, Display, Email, Social and campaign landing pages.
  • Own online, in-store, in-app and offline marketing plans and performance.
  • Ensure the brand is consistent in all creative with brand and digital guidelines. Initiate and generate creative concepts for driving customer acquisition.

  • At least 5-8 years in acquisition marketing roles with deep understanding of at least four of the following digital marketing channels; affiliate marketing, SEM, display advertising, social media, SEO and email marketing.
  • Ability to plan, organize and establish priorities with significant analytical, logical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively lead and inspire global teams to achieve group goals.
  • Significant consumer marketing experience, bonus if experience with subscription based services for content/entertainment industry.
  • You are a quant jock with killer spreadsheet skills.
  • Expert with ad copy and A/B landing page testing design, implementation and analysis (multivariate testing is a plus).

Your Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage customer support and fulfillment teams located globally; responsible for the overall direction and performance of the customer operations team
  • Oversee all aspects of people management within customer service operations including:  recruitment, selection, training, performance management, coaching, and motivation
  • Collaborate with product and development to ensure Customer Service readiness for all new product launches
  • Work closely with QA and development teams to represent the voice of the customer, helping to drive product improvements, problem solve issues and fix bugs

  • 3+ years of experience leading a customer service function and 8+ years in a customer-facing role: call center representative, support operations, call center analytics, call center supervisor
  • Relationship builder with strong interpersonal, written and communication skills. Ability to motivate and inspire large groups of people
  • BA/BS degree
  • Direct experience managing contact center vendors in an on-line, B2C environment
