Kelly Conlin

Kelly Conlin joined ZINIO as Chairman and CEO from NameMedia, where he was CEO of this venture-backed ecommerce platform that was acquired by strategic buyers.

Previously, he was CEO of two of the largest magazine publishers in the United States: IDG, the global leader for information services in the technology industry, and Primedia, the leading enthusiast magazine publisher.

He began his career as a journalist for CNN during the network’s start-up era, and worked for The New York Times as a journalist and strategic planning manager. He has a BA, magna cum laude, from Carleton College and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.

Vince Ohanyan

Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer

Vince’s long career in Media and Publishing has given him extensive knowledge of the publishing industry including finance, accounting, corporate strategy, business development, production, circulation, and operations. Vince served as the CFO of Alpha Media Group, publisher of Maxim until its sale in February 2014. As a member of the executive management team that oversaw the sale of the company, he was also responsible for Finance and Circulation functions.

He was previously General Manager and Chief Financial Officer at Northern & Shell NA where he helped launch OK! Magazine in the US market in 2005, which quickly became the fastest growing weekly celebrity magazine in the US. From 1991 to 2002, he was CFO/COO of TV Guide Magazine (the largest weekly circulation magazine during this time) along with its Magazine Distribution Group and managed finance, treasury, circulation, and HR functions.

Sergio Gago

Chief Technology Officer

Sergio Gago joined ZINIO as Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer from Tangelo Games, where he was the Global CTO for this social gaming company with offices in Toronto, Barcelona, Valencia and Tel Aviv. Previously, he was with global ecommerce leader Rakuten, first as the CTO of the company’s operations in Spain and, later, as the CTO for all of the European marketplaces. Other experiences included building a software development team in China, developing complex foreign exchange trading systems for a leading European brokerage firm, and consolidating four development centers into a single operation. He started his career as a hands-on developer and entrepreneur, helping start five companies before the age of 25. Having lived and worked in seven countries across Europe, the United States and Asia, he brings a global perspective to optimizing software development. He has a MS in Telecommunications from Universidad de Valladolid and and MBA from the Nyenrode Business University.

Joan Solà

EVP, Global Markets

Until July 2012 Joan was President of Zinio International, developing the Zinio business outside of North America. He joined the company in 2009 after leading a joint venture with Havas to develop Zinio in Europe and Latin America.

Previously he was CEO of Acceso Group, a media intelligence and CMS group in Spain that developed a partnership with Zinio in 2004 to expand the business in the UK and Spain. From 1984 through October 2000 he was CEO of Weber-Shandwick Spain. Joan was born in Barcelona, has a degree in Law from the UAB, a Marketing PD from ESADE, an EDP from Wharton and lives with his wife and their four daughters in Barcelona.

Raul Suarez

SVP, General Manager, International

Raul joined Zinio in 2005, starting the European operations and responsible for developing Zinio’s business into all major international markets. Raul has worked in the travel industry business in the early internet years (1994-2002) where he had international management positions with specific focus to developing online commerce.

He also was Director at ACCESOGROUP, a leading Media Intelligence and Communications Management Systems company based in Spain. Raul was born in Holland, speaks Dutch, German, Spanish, Portuguese and English, is graduated in Economics and with a post-graduate degree in International Management from Thunderbird.

Rolf Rohwer

SVP, Product Management

Rolf joined Zinio in 2014 after serving as Managing Director & Co-Founder of Audience Media, a leading developer of multichannel software solutions for publishers, which Zinio acquired in 2014.

Prior to founding Audience Media Rolf was Director for Global Media at eZ Systems, an open source Web CMS provider for the media industry and worked for 5 years at FIPP, the worldwide magazine media association as Marketing & Research Manager in London.
